Real estate transaction through notary

On July 4, a new era in real estate begins in Turkiye and now any real estate transaction can be formalized through a notary.

The advantage of this innovation is that the application can be submitted electronically even on weekends.

The downside is that a notary fee from 500 to 4,000 Turkish Liras will be added to the costs of registering TAPU (title deed). The amount will depend on the cadastral value, but unfortunately, this only applies to Turkish citizens so far, we'll see how it will be further.
